Holiday Weekend Upon Us

And it's kinda sorta the first big weekend of the summer season. P [img]cool.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/sun.gif[/img] L's are opening as are the waterparks and many summer destinations. People grilling up some tasty stuff on their backyard grills or BBQ's. Some grilling themselves poolside or at the beach (please baste yourself well and turn regularly to make sure you brown evenly [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] ) A cold drink of choice on the patio, a summer festival to kick things off right. Picnics in the park, outdoor games, bike riding, skating, blading, bungee hop scotch (wait scratch that last one). Summer attractions open both indoors and out (first free friday at the museum center is today from 4-8). Snow cones, freezes and all other tasty cold treats to cool us down when we get too hot. Short skirts, shorts, bikinis, swimsuits and sandles. Flip flops, shades and short sleeves become to stapels of the wardrobe for the next few months .Music in the parks, free shows and more Yes, this is the weekend we kick off the summer and start the summer fun (some of us to the liberty of starting early so you may need to catch up). The weekend we all wait all year for is here. Time to get things started for the summer season. Here's to a summer of fun. Here's to a summer filled with alot of time to do whatever it is you wanna do. Here's to us. The people who appreciate and afternoon with nothing to do but catch a few rays and maybe a dip in the pool. Here's to the feel of cool grass between your toes, to the tranquility that comes from watching a perfect sunset, to the feel of a summer breeze. here's to being able to enjoy yourself whenever you can. Here's to another summer! Hopefully it'll be a great one for us all.

I'll be in Gatlinburg over the weekend, because I'm running low on my saltwater taffy, fudge, Neck-car stuff, t-shirts, wigs, Jesus trinkets, costume jewelry, and knives.

I say that, but then, I always seem to have a fun time there. So we'll see.

Not really sure what I'll be doing with the "non-work" portion of thr weekend.
Taste is a possability, but not a definate.
Have to play it by ear!

It's only going to be in the high 60s here, so my big plans of sailing on the Bay of Green Bay are pretty much shot. If it's 65 at my house, it's 55 on the bay. No thanks.

Guess I'll put in some annuals and take my bike out for a spin or 2. There's a festival here that we may go to Saturday night to watch the fireworks & have a cold beer. [img]graemlins/beer.gif[/img]

People who are successful in business understand that the neck crowd is, by far, the best market you can tap. Everyone thinks its teenagers, and teens are a good market but the difference is, at the end of the day, they're still limited by what mom and dad can give them.

Necks, on the other hand, are a marketer's dream because they have no limitations. They spend money even if they don't have it, and the place that was built for them to do it in- Gatlinburg.

I could sit there and people watch all-day, that place never ceases to amaze me.
